Here at Ambassador Long Beach Veterinary Hospital, we truly believe in the importance of preventative care to keep your pets healthy. We believe that vaccines are necessary for good health.

Our goal
…is to keep your pet as healthy as possible. We believe that vaccinating pets is one of the best ways to do this. We always recommend vaccinating pets with the core vaccinations. Depending on your pet’s lifestyle, we may recommend other vaccines.

Vaccines are necessary to protect our pets from potentially harmful (and sometimes deadly) diseases. They are made to keep our pets healthy and disease free.

Things To Consider About Vaccinations:

There are many different vaccinations, so it is important to discuss your location (don’t forget to let us know if your pet will be traveling) and your pet’s lifestyle with our staff and your pet’s veterinarian.

Not every pet needs to be vaccinated against every disease. There are core vaccines which include rabies and distemper. These should be given to every pet, no matter where they live. However, not every pet needs to be vaccinated against diseases like feline leukemia and lyme disease.

When you bring your pet in for vaccinations, we give them an examination to make sure that your pet is doing well and not having any problems. If you have any concerns about your pet’s health, we can discuss them at your visit.

If you have any questions or are curious about the different vaccines that we offer, feel free to contact us today at (562) 427-2889.
